Big Guns

This picture is often shown as an example of what steroid use can lead to.  It definitely can lead to a massive increase in muscle mass but if abused it like anything can go to the extreme.  I have no idea if these gentlemen just had an unusual reaction to steroids or if in fact they abused them, but many users have reported a distorted self image after they start taking steroids which caused them to continue stacking and taking more and more until they eventually became completely different looking people than they were when they started taking steroids.  Several people have noted how much Barry Bonds head increased in size from his alleged use of steroids.  That is just one of many examples of an unwanted and obvious change to a person.  All of your muscles can and may grow and that may not always be a good thing.  As with any drug if you have a tendacy toward addiction, you should avoid the use of steroids.  It’s not necessarily a physical addiction but more of a mental one where you feel as though you just can’t stop.  Before you know it, you might see pictures of you all over the internet.
