Legal Consequences of Selling Steroids
The effects of steroids can also be severe if you are thinking about reselling the product to friends and/or others at your gym. You see, in the U.S. Federal law placed anabolic steroids in Schedule III of the Controlled Substances Act (CSA) as of February 27, 1991. The possession or sale of anabolic steroids without a valid prescription is illegal. Simple possession of illicitly obtained anabolic steroids carries a maximum penalty of one year in prison and a minimum $1,000 fine if this is an individual’s first drug offense. The maximum penalty for trafficking is five years in prison and a fine of $250,000 if this is the individual’s first felony drug offense. If this is the second felony drug offense, the maximum period of imprisonment and the maximum fine both double. While the above listed penalties are for federal offenses, individual states have also implemented fines and penalties for illegal use of anabolic steroids. You should also check out any U.S. State laws on steroid trafficking as well to see if is even more strict than the Federal law. We would recommend the same if you live outside of the U.S. Most countries at this time control the sale and distribution of steroids. In any event, it is a risky business model to say the least.
You should be very weary of websites that say they will get you steroids without a prescription. Find out where they are and how they are getting the drugs. Plus, be aware of the consequences of importing illegal drugs into your country. We would also be concerned with what you are really getting make sure you are 100% certain before ingesting or injecting anything from a site like that. We definitely recommend only taking steroids under the care of a doctor or personal trainer that you know and trust (and always make sure you follow and know the laws that you need to operate under).
